Our Story

So glad you're here — I'm Jen, the one behind You Look Happier.

Earlier this year I walked away from a toxic job, and I needed something to pull me back into the light. I went back and forth between a scoop shop and a mystery box, and — well, I've never met a surprise I didn't love so the box won! Obviously.

I'm a devoted animal-rights softie, hopelessly obsessed with my two orange kitties (they run the place — you'll meet them on our TikTok), and a bit of a treasure hunter at heart. Give me a tucked-away boutique or a bottom shelf nobody's looked at, and I'll find the one perfect thing hiding there. Pretty, useful, delightfully unexpected — that's what earns a spot in your box.

These days it's me and a little team who share the obsession. We find the good stuff. You get the thrill of opening it. Everyone leaves happier — it's kind of our whole thing.

And darling, we're just warming up. We are working on a few new little somethings that we are excited to bring you later in the year!
